“Merlin, did you really think I need help with Charms?” he asked. Thomas could only focus at how annoying the blonde’s messy hair was. His hands ache to touch and fix it—he bet it would feel like feathers. “Charms?”

“So you don’t?” Thomas asked hastily.

Newt scoffed. “Of course not, you oblivious bastard,” he looked down, “I did all of it just so I could get to know you.”

Thomas could feel his cheeks heat up. He could hear his heartbeat—he hoped they weren’t too loud. “Oh.”
